Shpresë për Fëmijët is organized exclusively for charitable and religious purposes in accordance with IRS 501(c)(3). Our work is guided by faith, compassion, and a commitment to serving those most in need.
Our Mission
To support underprivileged and orphaned children in the United States and internationally by providing food, clothing, shelter, education, healthcare, and humanitarian aid—through strong partnerships with churches, especially within the Albanian community, and other charitable organizations.
Our Vision
A world where every child, regardless of background, has access to care, opportunity, and a supportive community rooted in faith and compassion.

Founder
Dr. Rezan Doku, DDS
Founder, Shpresë për Fëmijët
A healthcare professional and proud member of the Albanian community, he has been dedicated to serving others through both dentistry and charitable outreach. He is the founder of multiple dental practices, including Macomb Dental Group, West Village Dental, St. Clair Shores Smiles, and Carleton Dental, where he has focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Having lost his parents at the age of six, he was raised by his grandparents alongside his siblings, whose strength and values continue to guide his life and work today. He actively gives back through his practices, supports church initiatives, and contributes to causes that help families and children in need.
The vision for Shpresë për Fëmijët was inspired within his own family, with early encouragement from his brother, Armando Doku, and today he leads the organization with a mission to bring hope, care, and opportunity to underprivileged and orphaned children locally and around the world.

An entrepreneur and dental industry leader serving as CEO of Avaneer Dental Labs in Michigan and Florida, a full-service dental laboratory focused on innovation, precision, and quality patient care. With years of experience in dental technology and business leadership, he has helped build a culture centered around excellence, collaboration, and community impact. Raised with strong Albanian values of hard work, family, and service, Armando has remained committed to supporting charitable and faith-based initiatives that give back to those in need. His vision, leadership, and early encouragement played an important role in the foundation and inspiration behind Shpresë për Fëmijët.
Dr. Erald Lula, MD, MPH
Board Member
A board-certified internal medicine physician and healthcare executive serving as Medical Director and Co-Founder of NUHealth Medical Wellness in Michigan. He previously served as a hospital Medical Director, where he led clinical operations and focused on improving patient outcomes and quality of care. With a strong background in preventive medicine and chronic disease management, Dr. Lula is dedicated to advancing accessible, patient-centered healthcare. He brings valuable clinical expertise and leadership to Shpresë për Fëmijët, supporting its mission to improve the health and well-being of underprivileged children. His commitment to service and community health aligns with the organization's faith-driven humanitarian goals.

Kris Cutaj, PA-C, is a dedicated Physician Assistant in Michigan committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered healthcare. As a proud member of the Albanian community, Kris believes in the importance of service, education, and supporting families in need. Through his professional work and community involvement, he strives to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Kris is honored to support Shpresë për Fëmijët and its mission of bringing hope, opportunity, and assistance to children and families facing hardship.
